Royale chocolate cookies of doom
Ingredients:
- 50g bittersweet chocolate
- 125g butter
- 125g powdered sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 200g flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 heaped tablespoons cocoa
Coarsely chop the chocolate.
Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours, wrapped in aluminum foil.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough on baking paper (saves flouring) half a cm thin and cut out cookies.
Place the cookies on a baking tray (with baking paper!) and bake for 8-10 minutes on the middle rack.
Lift the cookies from the baking sheet and let them cool on a cooling rack.
If you like, you can melt chocolate coating and decorate the cookies with it.
And as for the ramekin molds, I recommend the baking section at Caleidolex. (no, I don’t get any percentages).
